Traveling to Maine

Today, July 6th it was time for Bonnie and I to begin our next trip. We are starting out with a ten day stay in Maine. So at about 8:45am we departed Queensbury, NY area heading to Wells & Bar Harbor, ME. 

We started in NY with a beautiful drive in the Green Mts. of VT. 
Then is was on to central area of NH and then into Maine. We ended the trip on RT 1 and Moody Beach Campsite in Wells, ME. Travel time was about 4hrs and we covered about 204 miles. Now time to relax and enjoy three days in Wells, ME. 

In a few days we will be back on RT 1 heading up to Bar Harbor, ME. 
Next ten days should be lots of fun.

    Oh, man! We love Bar Harbor, Fred! Whenever I used to have a bad day at work, I would think of sitting at the top of South Bubble Mountain, looking down at Jordan Pond and the ocean. Lots of good memories there. We celebrated our 25th anniversary by climbing Penobscot Mountain. Have a great time!
